wrap warranty & disclaimers

GENERAL Warranty Policy & Disclaimer

Good Graphics Co. stands behind the quality of our vinyl wrap installations with a one (1) year warranty from the date of installation when using 3M wrap film. This warranty specifically covers installation workmanship and does not extend to the wrap material itself, which remains under the manufacturer’s warranty.

By choosing Good Graphics Co., you acknowledge that vinyl wraps are a temporary cosmetic enhancement and will naturally experience wear over time. The lifespan and appearance of your wrap depend on factors such as proper care, environmental exposure, and day-to-day handling.

WHAT’S COVERED UNDER OUR INSTALLATION WARRANTY?

This warranty protects against installation-related defects, including:
✔ Peeling or lifting edges
✔ Bubbling or trapped air pockets
✔ Premature lifting at seams or overlaps
✔ Adhesion failure resulting from improper installation

If any of these issues occur within one (1) year of your installation, Good Graphics Co. will repair or replace the affected area at no additional cost.

WHAT’S NOT COVERED?

Vinyl wraps are a cosmetic enhancement, and—like paint—are subject to normal wear and tear over time. This warranty does not cover the following:

  • Damage caused by accidents, vandalism, or road debris

  • Scratches, chips, or scuffs resulting from improper care or physical impact

  • Damage from mechanical car washes, high-pressure washing, or chemical exposure (including fuel spills or harsh cleaners)

  • Environmental wear from extreme temperatures, prolonged sun exposure, or severe weather conditions

  • Pre-existing vehicle issues such as rust, peeling paint, deep scratches, dents, or previously applied vinyl

  • Visibility or wear issues related to perforated window film, particularly during adverse weather conditions

WRAP CARE & mAINTENANCE

Keeping your vehicle wrap in top shape is especially important in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where weather conditions can be tough on vinyl. From hot, humid summers to snowy, salt-covered winters, Michigan’s climate can accelerate wear if wraps aren’t properly maintained. Regular handwashing, gentle cleaning, and indoor storage help protect against UV fading, salt corrosion, and moisture damage.

At Good Graphics Co., we know how Michigan weather affects wraps—and we use premium materials and proven care methods to keep your investment looking sharp year-round. Whether you’re driving through downtown Grand Rapids or braving winter roads, proper wrap care ensures your graphics stay bold, bright, and built to last.

Hand Wash Regularly

Use mild soap and water with a soft sponge or cloth. Handwashing helps remove dirt, grime, and salt buildup gently—preventing scratches and keeping your wrap’s finish smooth and vibrant.

Avoid Harsh Wash Methods

High-pressure washes, abrasive brushes, and automatic car washes can lift edges, dull the finish, or damage the vinyl. Gentle, hands-on cleaning is always safest.

Have Questions?

Clean Contaminants Immediately

Bird droppings, fuel spills, and tree sap can stain or eat into the vinyl if left too long. Wipe them away as soon as possible using warm, soapy water or a vinyl-safe cleaner.

Park in the Shade or Indoors

Michigan’s strong UV rays can cause fading and premature wear. Whenever possible, park in a garage or shaded area to protect your wrap from sun damage.
